I LOVE cookbooks and I use to buy quite a few. After my bookshelves were bursting, I quit purchasing with exception of a rare book here and there. I found myself reading my favorite cooking magazines, The Vegetarian Times, Cooking Light, Gourmet, Bon Appetit, and Saveur. Instead of cookbooks, I had files full of torn out pages or magazines. My current collection of cookbooks are well loved, taped together, pages dog eared, with notes written over the last 30 plus years.
